We have been getting good results using chia to lower cholesterol and regulate diabetic control. Patients have responded to it well. The high levels of Omega 3 EFA's and also fibre make chia a valuable part of our healthy lifestyle plan.

I love Chia!! I have found that my skin has responded really well to it and seems to have more of a glow and I rarely get pimples. I also find that by sprinkling Chia on my cereal, it keeps me full until lunch time.

I am very happy to talk about chia. I think it is great. I start every day with a couple of spoonfuls of it on my muesli and yoghurt. I feel it cleans out my system and enables me to have regular bowel movements. It takes away the heavy feeling I used to have in my stomach. As I have Osteoporosis the chia is helping my bone strength and I don't need to be on any medication. Even more importantly I have not had any colds or flu for the past year or so. Chia gives me a general feeling of good health and wellbeing. As I am nearly 68 years old a product that helps me feel young and active is wonderful. I just can't talk highly enough about it.

I've only been using Chia for a short while, but have noticed a big difference in that time. Just one tablespoon of black Chia on my cereal each morning has improved my energy and concentration levels throughout the morning, and I no longer feel the need for a mid-morning snack. I'll keep using Chia as it's a really easy way to do something good for yourself.

Recently I competed in the Maximum Adventure Max 24hr Race in NSW, covering 130-140km. I needed to intake 55,000kJ across the event and be mindful of my electrolyte intake. I included 15g per litre of Chia in my drink bottles and my back pack bladder. The Chia adds that extra edge with a sustained energy release from one meal, or drink, to the next. I find Chia very easy to consume, and it does not cause any tummy upsets while racing. Its mild flavour means it is easy to mix with other products and I do not need to add extra flavour to hide anything in the Chia. I completed the event in 24 hrs 30 minutes, racing non-stop for the whole time. I am sure that my general well-being and performance in the race have been greatly enhanced by using Chia.

Our family has been using Australian Grown Chia from The Chia Company for over two years and it is an integral part of our diet. With two young children (aged 2 and 4), the benefits of Chia are many. As most people with young children would appreciate, toddlers can be very fussy eaters, particularly when it comes to eating meat. For us, it was so much so that both girls needed to take iron supplements. Since having Chia on a regular basis, they no longer require supplements and in fact, have become less fussy in their eating habits. Our children's mind-set is that Chia is a treat and there is great excitement when we put Chia on their cereal! Because Chia is tasteless we have come to add it to everything, including baking recipes, scrambled eggs, burgers and pancakes. Regardless of what the kids eat for the day (or us for that matter) it is comforting to know that they have had sufficient protein, fibre and Omega 3 from their Chia intake.
