The Chia Co products are all made from 100% natural Australian grown Chia seed. Chia is the highest plant based source combining omega 3, dietary fibre and protein – essential whole food nutrition that is often lacking from the modern diet. Our product range includes Chia Oil, Chia Bran, Chia Ground Seed, Chia Seed White, Chia Seed Black and Chia Shots.
Chia Oil (280ml)
Chia Oil is the highest plant based source of omega 3. It contains high levels of antioxidants with an ORAC value of 8,100 vitamin E equivalent. Omega 3 is essential for good health and Chia Oil is a healthy vegetarian source of plant-based oils. Harvard Nutrition advocates that plant oils should be consumed at most meals and the Heart Foundation recommends at least 2g of omega 3 ALA per day in conjunction with two serves of fish per week. Fish and marine omega 3 is called EPA DHA and is strongly linked to heart function as well as brain function; plant omega 3 ALA is linked to heart health, joint mobility and hair and skin lustre. Chia Oil is a pleasant tasting way to boost your essential Omega 3 oil intake.
